About Michael T. Colletti, D.D.S.
Dr. Michael T. Colletti received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from
Loyola University in 1984.
Dr. Colletti grew up with three brothers and one sister in Riverside,
Illinois, where he attended Riverside-Brookfield High School. He later
graduated from Whitewater High School in Wisconsin. After High
School, Dr. Colletti attended University of Whitewater - Wisconsin
before going to dental school.
Following graduation from Loyola's dental program, Dr. Colletti took a
student fellowship for oral cancer research at the University of Chicago.
He later associated in private practice on the north side of Chicago with
Dr. Richard Pipia.
In late August 1985, Dr. Colletti established his own general dental
practice here in Lombard, Illinois. For 20 years, Dr. Colletti practiced at
901 S. Main Street and has enjoyed the connection to the Lombard
area. In January 2007, Dr. Colletti moved his entire practice to 237 S.
Main Street. This new facility continues to meet and exceed the needs
of Dr. Colletti's patients and keeps him established in the Lombard
area.
Dr. Colletti maintains memberships in numerous dental societies and
civic organizations, including:
American Dental Association, Illinois Dental Society, Chicago Dental
Society, International Dental Laser Association, American Association
of Functional Orthodontics, Academy of General Dentistry, Knights of
Columbus, and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Colletti is a widower who lost his wife Jean to cancer in 2005; they
were married for 21 years. Jean lives today through their children
Kristen and Vincent. Kristen attends Vanderbuilt University where she
is the captain of the Varsity Coed Cheerleaders and maintains an
honor roll grade point average. Vincent attends Northwestern University
where he is a Varsity wrestler and maintains an honor roll grade point
average.
Dr. Colletti loves to golf and fish in his spare time. He enjoys spending
winter days golfing in the Florida sun and summer days fishing in the
waters of Alaska. Golfing and fishing are among his many passions.
Dr. Colletti loves practicing Dentistry and considers it a privilege to
have so many of his patients put their trust in him.
